LOCAL dEATH bENEFIT fUND

We have had several members pass away in the recent months. Every member who participates in the Local Death Benefit Program has a beneficiary who currently receives $1500 (one time payment). This has significantly lowered the balance of the Local Death Benefit fund. This program is funded by the $5 death assessment and the $10 sign up fee. The more members that contribute to the fund and keep up on their death assessments, the more the fund can grow. Please make an effort to catch up your Death Assessments and if you are not yet a participant of the Local Death Benefit Program, please call the hall for a sign-up sheet. If we get more members to participate in the Death Benefit Program, the benefit increases.
